Transforming research to reality through real-world application.

Testing Before Scaling Up

After our Technology Roadmaps have been developed, a path is made clear to accelerate water solutions.

The result is the deployment of various demonstration testbeds, which are local facility sites that test and refine cutting-edge technologies to ensure they meet Arizona’s needs before scaling up.

These testbeds enable small- to mid-scale trials of innovative methods to help reduce risks and accelerate adoption.

Current Testbed Initiatives

Located at partner sites, our testbeds evaluate technologies from GCWT startups, advancing their capability for real-world use. Supported by engineering staff and students, our testbeds are accessible to GCWT collaborators and external companies via a fee structure.
